2. The Directory & Advertising (For Vendors)
- Accuracy: vendors are solely responsible for ensuring their profile information, images, and links are accurate, lawful, and up to date.
- Subscriptions & Payments: directory listings and advertising packages are billed according to the tier selected at checkout. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to recurring annual or monthly billing until cancelled.
- Cancellations & Refunds: you may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. All payments are non-refundable, and no prorated refunds are issued for partial terms.
- Right to Refuse: we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to remove, edit, or refuse any vendor listing or advertisement that does not meet our quality standards, aesthetic guidelines, or brand values, or that violates these Terms, without refund.
3. User-Submitted Content (Real Weddings, Photos & Reviews)
By submitting content — including photos, stories, reviews, or other text — to Louisiana Weddings Magazine:
- License: you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, publish, reproduce, and display the content on the Website, in our print publications, and across our social media channels.
- Warranty of Ownership: you represent and warrant that you own the rights to the content, or have obtained all necessary, legally binding permissions — including express written consent from the professional photographer and any individuals shown — to submit it for publication.
- Reviews: reviews and opinions submitted by users are their own and do not reflect our views. We do not independently verify reviews and are not responsible for their accuracy.

9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL IDES, LOUISIANA WEDDINGS MAGAZINE, OR ITS OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE, RELIANCE ON DIRECTORY INFORMATION, OR VENDOR NON-PERFORMANCE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Dispute Resolution: Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
You and Louisiana Weddings Magazine/IDES agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Website will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. YOU AND WE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Arbitration will be administered by a mutually agreed arbitration provider under its consumer arbitration rules then in effect, and will take place in, or be conducted consistent with the laws of, the State of Louisiana. This section does not limit either party’s right to seek injunctive relief for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 10, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website or any account, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
13. Modifications to These Terms
